Initially established in 2010, INFANTS supported efforts to develop the infrastructure for the current neonatal follow-up program which provides administrative and clinical support services for newborns at risk for developmental delay. INFANTS has evolved to include support for multiple sub-disciplines within pediatrics.

 

Clinical and administrative services are provided by the physicians of Coastal Carolina Neonatology, PLLC and Coastal Children's Services, PLLC. Ancillary and nursing support is provided by the Betty H. Cameron Women's & Children's Hospital of New Hanover Regional Medical Center (NHRMC), and to a lesser degree by the professional support staff of the New Hanover County Children's Developmental Services Agency (CDSA).
